I wanted to share a few images from Taylor and Kody’s engagement session. Their original session was scheduled back when we had that 4 day downpour and everything was a big flooded mess. After many reschedules due to some crazy weather we finally had things work out. The best part about all the reschedules is that Kody’s daughter was going to be able to be in the shoot! The photography session took place at Adriatica in McKinney, TX. Don’t they make a cute family!?!?

RCHS BULLDOGS win game at home against Denison High School!

Royse City Dominated Denison 35-21 on Friday October 8, 2010. The Bulldogs have been working hard all season and it finally paid off! This win was an emotional win for many of the Senior boys who had not won a game at home during their time on the Varsity Bulldog team. This win is only the first this season as I know that more wins are yet to come. If you are looking for plans on a Friday night, come support the RCHS Bulldogs and witness Friday Night Football at its finest.

Royse city played the first game at home verse Mesquite Poteet. They played well and unfortunately were defeated by Poteet. Jeffrey and I arrived early and watched the stadium fill. Royse City definitely has a plethora of Bulldog fans. Walking into the stadium brought back some great memories for me. When I was in high school, my fall Fridays were all high school football. I didn’t play of course, but I danced and was all about the school spirit. The funny thing is that at Fontainebleau High School, we were the Bulldogs too! Go Bulldogs! All I ever wanted to do while in school was grow up and get out of their. I wish I would have slowed down and enjoyed every second a little longer. Now I get to have Friday night football all over again, from the sidelines! I love sharing the whole experience with my kids and showing them what they have to look forward to.

The Booster Club at Royse City High School has made us feel very welcome and a part of their community. One day, these students will want to share their High School days with their children or Grand-kids. They will be able to show a 3D Event Studios image, printed on professional archival paper, that still looks just as brilliant as the day it was printed. Jeffrey and I are loving this nice change to our usual portrait setting. Sports photography is so different from portrait photography; however, we are loving the challenge! We have not changed anything about out portrait sessions, they are our first love and still being scheduled as usual. Senior portraits anyone???

Royse City Bulldogs Football!!!

Wow! I guess I will break the ice with, IT IS FOOTBALL SEASON IN TEXAS!!!!! It has been a very long time since I have posted on this blog. The first post since Christmas! Enough about what I haven’t posted in the past few months and lets talk about what I will be posting. 3D Event Studios will be attending most of the Royse City Bulldogs Varsity High School Football games this year. This Friday will be the first home game vs. Mesquite Poteet. The image above is from a scrimmage game last week vs. Little Elm. Jeffrey and I will be taking turns on the side lines at the game capturing all the action. You can look forward to a weekly post about football and some awesome images from the game! I will try to have the best images from each game posted in a Featured Gallery on our website, www.3deventstudios.com, for purchase by the Thursday after the game each week. Printed images will be available for pick up at the game following print completion. Once again photography has led us to awesome places and introduced us to outstanding people. I am so excited I can hardly wait! Anyone that knows me knows that I just love anything that has to do with spirit (School Spirit, Themed Parties, Cow Day At Chick-fil-A). I have a Royse City shirt to wear to the games and I am contemplating making ribbons for my hair. What age is to old for hair ribbons?

Cassie Our Wonderful Make-Up Artist

Cassie is our WONDERFUL hair and make-up artist. She always has fresh ideas and new ways to make our sessions interesting. Cassie does a great job making our Seniors look FABULOUS! She is also our go to girl for creative fantasy hair and make-up. The last time she was in our studio we had a few extra minutes to get some amazing images of her. This is one of our favorite images.
